Review: Mini Sonia Kashuk Haul & Review
I haven't bought or tried anything from Sonia Kashuk, and since Target is closing down soon in Canada, I decided to see what was left and picked up a couple of quads.
This first thing I picked up was the Sonia Kashuk monochrome eye quad.
They had many colours/combinations left (at least in my Target they restocked a bunch of Sonia Kashuk stuff), and each eyeshadow quad was ~$2ish, definitely less than $3.
Overall this is a nice compact for shadow. Not sure if you can still buy this as Target is not available in Canada anymore, but if you can I would definitely recommend this!

This particular quad is called the textured mauve - 10.
This quad contains four different eye shadows with a similar purple/pink theme but as the name suggests, they all have a different texture that distinguishes them.
Top Right is the only matte shade in the quad and can be described as a mauve/deep lavender colour. The formula for this shadow is very soft and buttery to the touch. The colour itself reminds me of the colour in-between "Natural beauty" and "Best friend" found in the tartelette palette.
Top Left is the more on the pink side of the mauve spectrum. It's very hard to tell from the picture but this particular colour contains little specks of purple glitter here in there in the pan. Looking at the colour in the pan, it is really pretty. The texture is the same as the matte shadow, still buttery and easy to blend. It comes off as more matte, the purple glitter isn't very noticeable.
Bottom Left is a very nice satin shade, perfect to pop on the top of your eyelids.
Bottom Right is my least favourite, since it seems to have larger specks of glitter that tend to fall out. Would probably use this wet to get better payoff for this shadow.
